Creating the title page for "Hello, I'm Trying My Best", was very important for Kayla, because not only would it represent the series as a whole, but she also wanted to represent the experience that inspired her to start the series.

In 2019, Kayla experienced one of the worst depressive episodes of her life. During that time, her mother received a random patch in the mail akin to a name tag that read "Hello, I'm Trying My Best". Her mother decided to give this to Kayla in order to cheer her up during this hard time. Feeling inspired, Kayla decided to move forward in improving her mental health, and wanted to make a series documenting this process. In the title page, the patch that she received from her mother is presented over and over again, to acknowledge the influence it had on the series.
